Facilitation: one within a group
The term facilitation is broadly used to describe any activity, which makes tasks for others easy (Wikipedia)
- A facilitator maintains objectivity, ensures group ownership and management of the group dynamic.
- Many people find it difficult to facilitate their own meetings.
- By navigating the group towards achieving the set outcomes, facilitators ensure that agreed outcomes are met, all voices are heard and time is kept.
