Facilitation: one within a group

The term facilitation is broadly used to describe any activity, which makes tasks for others easy (Wikipedia)

  • A facilitator maintains objectivity, ensures group ownership and management of the group dynamic.
  • Many people find it difficult to facilitate their own meetings.
  • By navigating the group towards achieving the set outcomes, facilitators ensure that agreed outcomes are met, all voices are heard and time is kept.
